I am a 16 year old road and XTERRA triathlete from the UK. I achieved some of my big aspirations last year, becoming the 2024 XTERRA Youth World Champion and British Triathlon Champion, and was selected onto the England Next Generation Triathlon Squad, after finishing the British Triathlon Series ranked 2nd in GB. I’m aiming to expand my international racing, looking to go into Europe to race some Junior European Triathlon Cup competition and XTERRA events, as well as aim to qualify for upcoming races like the European Youth Triathlon Championships, on the road in Austria. I will be heading back to Italy later this year too, for my second XTERRA Youth World Champs, looking to retain my title from last year. Except in some major championships in road triathlon, if racing internationally I receive no backing from an NGB or funding to support costs, which makes the financial demands that come with goals I am dedicated towards achieving a difficult hurdle. Any support I receive I am immensely grateful for as it supports me in my progression through sport, helping me get out to national and international competition, with necessary costs from travel and accommodation for races to equipment for competing across multiple disciplines, as well as support towards the costs of training and preparing for racing I am passionate about, and dedicate myself towards, with the aim that I can do something I enjoy, professionally and at a world class level.
