At just 17 years old, Marianna Sobczak is already competing internationally in one of the fastest-growing action sports in the world, chasing her dream of reaching the 2032 Summer Olympics. Training up to 12 sessions a week while completing the demanding International Baccalaureate program, Marianna is building her career through relentless self-belief, resilience and an obsession with improving every detail of performance. In a sport where equipment technology is evolving rapidly and access to high-level gear can directly influence progression, support is critical to helping her secure and maintain the equipment needed to compete with the world’s best.
- Hi! I’m Marianna and I’m a competitive wingfoiler chasing the far dream of the 2032 Olympics. Wingfoiling combines windsurfing and kitesurfing in an exciting new discipline, and I’m proud to be among the athletes pushing its limits in Poland.
- After switching from swimming, I’ve managed to earn three podiums this year in Polish Cup regattas. My big goal now is the Formula Wing Youth World Championships in October 2025.
- This sport demands intense training, travel, both often abroad, and top-tier equipment. I’m committed to giving my all, pushing my limits and working extremely hard, and I’m seeking support to help me compete internationally and reach my full potential. This is the sport that I love and in which I imagine my future!
