Bio

A New Zealand wing foil racer, Jeremiah McDonald is competing in a growing water sport and working towards racing against the world’s best on the international stage.

Wing foiling is a fast, technical discipline that combines elements of windsurfing, kitesurfing and hydrofoiling, with athletes racing above the water at high speed. As a young sport with growing global momentum, wing foil’s community is enjoying building out its potential to capture imaginations. However, for athletes like Jeremiah, it also means limited access to career defining high-performance environments.

Dedicating countless hours on the water to refining his craft, pushing his limits in a sport that demands precision, Jeremiah embodies persistence and tenacity. But competing at this level requires more than talent and training alone. The cost of travel, competition and specialist equipment is significant and in an emerging sport much of that burden falls directly on the athlete.

Jeremiah’s journey represents both personal ambition and a wider opportunity. As he works to take on the world’s best, he is also helping to raise the profile of a sport on the rise. Supporting Jeremiah is a chance to back an athlete at a pivotal stage in his development, while also joining a community around a fresh, exciting and visually dynamic discipline that offers strong storytelling potential for both individual supporters and commercial partners.
